2000 Season 2001 Season Exhibition Games The Calgary Scottish are hoping to play exhibition games against any teams that are availible in the 2001 season. We are hoping to play 7's or 11's but would be able to put together a 15's side. Women's Team The motion was brought forward to start development of a women's side. It was defeated by a vote of 3 for...7 against. The players felt it would be in better interest to develop the two sides already running. Dues Starting in for the 2001 season there will be dues of $25.00 per player. This will include socks. The player must also be registered with a 15's club in the ARU for insurance purposes. Jersey Design The Calgary Scottish are in need of a jersey design for their First Division Side. We are asking for anyone to submit their ideas and designs. If your design is choosen you will recieve a free jersey with your design on it. Recruiting There will be try-outs for the Scottish in the Spring Winter Conditioning Voting As the Calgary Scottish continue to grow the executive committee will be faced with ever-changing issues. Lloyd Piehl stepped down as President after two successful seasons. He will now focus on the coaching aspect of the Calgary Scottish. The voting went as follows: President: Tom Calvert Treasurer: Kurt Heppner Recruiting: Lloyd Piehl |
